Recent INSEAD MBA graduate Jard van Heerde has returned to his home country of the Netherlands to launch search fund Ventus Succession.
According to his LinkedIn, before completing his MBA, van Heerde spend nearly 5 years at Boston Consulting Group based mainly in Amsterdam but also including a one year transfer to BCG’s Nairobi, Kenya office.
Ventus Sucession’s search criteria include €5-20m revenue (including some reoccurring), €0.8-2m EBITDA and stable profitability provided by a diverse customer base. Whilst the search fund has no industry focus, it is geographically focused just on the Netherlands.
Investors in Ventus Succession search fund are not listed on their website, but they are described as being ‘primarily former entrepreneurs who have themselves acquired and grown an SME’.
