A new traditional search fund has launched in the UK.
Gaman Sucession has been formed by founder Cecilia Lopez, after a Masters in Management and Corporate Finance at École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP Europe) followed by a career in private equity. Most recently, Lopez spent over three years at KKR focusing on technology investments. Previously she spent time at Permira and J.P. Morgan.
Despite being UK based, Gaman Succession is searching to acquire a technology or software business across Western Europe, giving Lopez a chance to fulfil her ambitions to become an operator and entrepreneur. Other search criteria include the target having revenue of up to €50m, being cash flow positive and having EBITDA margins of at least 10%.
Writing on LinkedIn, Lopez thanked investors that include Ethos Partners, Miramar Partners, Istria Capital, Alza Capital Partners and Cerralvo Capital as well as individual investors such as Will Thorndike and Andrew Saltoun.
